FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Calling all GTA Employers!
Mississauga, Ontario —The Peel Halton Local Employment Planning Council (LEPC) is conducting its seventh annual Employer Survey. With a target of over 650 employers, this anonymous survey will obtain feedback directly from the employer’s perspective on the labour issues, within the community. This year’s survey will focus on Technology Changes and its emerging effect on employment.
The survey will cover the following topics:
• How employers are reacting to technological change.
• How technological changes affect talent acquisition strategies.
• What skill sets are in demand for a given organization.
This survey will provide a broad platform for employers to highlight their concerns about the impact of technological changes in employment opportunities. This very important data may help our valued stakeholders develop curriculum and other services, to improve the labour market barometer in our community.
“Studying the effects of technological changes and the manner in which it continues to modify the labour market is critical for LEPC’s outreach to the community” said Shalini da Cunha. “This analysis will assist us in identifying the challenges employers are facing, and how we can help improve the labour market in our region.”
If you are an employer we invite you to participate in this anonymous online survey which will be available from September 6th – October 6th 2017. Click here https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Press17
